- Accelerated durability testing: simulate the aging of samples in real time, in shortened time intervals. These tests are exposed to a higher temperature. Thus, for example, it is possible to reach in 6 weeks a state that under normal conditions would take a year.
- Stress tests: are tests under extreme conditions, e.g. at 60 °C and 60 % relative humidity, usually performed at the beginning of the study, in order to decide which test methods are best suited to the active substances.
According to the studies to be carried out in the laboratories, with the implementation of the environmental chambers, they evaluate the quality and reliability of the samples in a controlled environment, with due monitoring and evaluation of the long-term effects of the product in a confined area.
